Biography

Steve Olson is an actor and improviser. Upcoming work includes a recurring role in The Shards, the FX series created by Ryan Murphy and based on Bret Easton Ellis’s memoir, as well as Apple TV+’s Lucky, alongside Annette Bening and Anya Taylor-Joy.

Television credits include Hacks on Max, NCIS on CBS, The Goldbergs on ABC, New Girl on FOX, Dave on FXX, For All Mankind on Apple TV+, General Hospital on ABC, Bookie on Max, The Company You Keep on ABC, and Lazarus on Apple TV+. His film work includes Father Stu from Sony Pictures, opposite Mark Wahlberg; Fishbowl California, opposite Kate Flannery; and Single, which premiered at SXSW.

Olson trained with Lesly Kahn, Margie Haber, Annie Grindlay, Scott Sedita, Andrew Wood, Jamie Renee Smith, and Stan Kirsch, and studied improvisation at The Groundlings and Acme Comedy Theater. He is a longtime musician, having played the piano and drums since he was a teenager.
