Biography
Henry Jäderlund is an American producer, casting director, and creative executive with more than twenty-five years of experience spanning feature films, prestige documentary series, and internationally distributed television productions. His credits include Captain Phillips, The Food That Built America, The Men Who Built America: Frontiersmen, The American West, Pocahontas: Beyond the Myth, The American Miracle, The Gateway, and The Watermen. Throughout his career, Jäderlund has contributed to productions executive produced by Academy Award winners Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert Redford, Emmy Award–winning producer Stephen David, and projects featuring Academy Award winner Tom Hanks. His work encompasses casting, creative development, production leadership, and historically driven programming viewed by audiences in more than 100 countries. Jäderlund continues to develop original film and television projects while collaborating with filmmakers, executives, historians, and subject-matter experts worldwide.
Jäderlund is currently developing a slate of scripted and unscripted projects exploring history, culture, and the human experience for global audiences.
