Overview

After moving to Japan, Devon Hendryx (now known as JPEGMAFIA) formed the group Ghost Pop. In this period, he worked on his final release under the Devon Hendryx alias, THE GHOST~POP TAPE. Preceding all releases of the album, the film "1989年10月22日 GenY⁵" released on Vimeo. The film consists of a montage of snippets and songs from the album, set to visuals containing home videos, anime, video games, archival footage, and porn.
