The Governor's Daughter (1912)
Overview
Governor Krakow has promised his daughter, Sonja, in marriage to the wealthy prince and general Sabinsky. However, Sonja is secretly engaged to the young Lieutenant Petrowitsch. When the general discovers that the lieutenant is courting his intended bride, he sends him to a remote military posting. The love triangle takes a dramatic turn when the lieutenant first falls captive to the Tartars and later joins their army, which is fighting against Sabinsky. (Stumfilm.dk)
