Portrait documentary about Jüri Sillart - an innovator, an expressionist, a bright filmmaker and a warm-hearted teacher for whom cinema meant not only a professional field but his whole life. Sillart's work was acknowledged in Estonia, in the former Soviet Union and abroad. Jüri was a sharp personality with a curious mind. Life with all its manifestations was a great source of inspiration for him - everyday events, painting, photography, history of various religions, philosophical and esoterical literature, history, astronomy, mathematics - he was interested in all of this.
